After many requests, I finally convinced the non-horse husband to be on the podcast!

An Interview with Sophie Stallmann aka @sophsta_buggsy
"Riding, liberty, everything is a 50/50 partnership, you need to be putting in as much effort as your horse, and if you want your horse to change, then you need to change"
Sophie was born and raised on her family’s horse and cattle property. She loves getting her hands dirty and working on the property whether it be fencing, processing calves, or mustering, she says this is where she truly feels at peace.
Sophie has always been in love with animals of all shapes and sizes, but horses have taken a special part of her heart.
She loves training and creating special bonds with her animals and learning from the process. Sophie really loves working with her horses right from the beginning, where they are present at or just after birth, through their weaning, starting under saddle, playing with liberty and trick training, and eventually competing in campdrafts and challenges.
Sophie also loves to teach what she’s learnt, and so she began her riding and training school where she teaches and helps others build their riding, equine skills, and relationship with their own horses. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Equine Science at the University of Queensland. Sophie is a full-time uni student, part-time photographer, and balances study, competitive equine goals, liberty and trick training, and teaching horse riding and liberty lessons.

Nicky is 33 years old and is a Dutchie that now lives in Spain. She didn't come from a horsey family, yet her interest in horses started when she was just a little girl. From riding lessons at traditional riding schools, to bareback and bridleless beach rides - her horsemanship has gone through a massive change over all those years.
Nicky is currently the proud owner of two Spanish boys (a stallion and a gelding) and nowadays love, patience, understanding and trust are the foundation for everything she does with them! Liberty is her favourite thing in the world, together with hacking out.. so she can’t wait to start those adventures with her boys!

An Interview with Juliette Cimetiere @jchorsetraining on her Horsemanship Journey with Cavalia, Liberty, & Classical Dressage
In this episode, I talk with the incredible Juliette from @jchorsetrianing.
Juliette is a trainer based out of Redmond Washington. Her training methods focus on building a balanced, relaxed, relationship between horse and rider. She teaches dressage as well as liberty work (focusing on building a connection on the ground, on and offline).
Juliette has over 18 years of experience riding training and showing horses in dressage, eventing, hunter jumpers, English and western performance. She has been teaching in the Pacific Northwest for 9 years, and has recently started teaching clinics locally and internationally, in British Columbia. Her training methods combine Natural Horsemanship, and dressage, to create balance and harmony with horse and rider.
